Happy Wednesday! The sun finally came out after days and days of rain. Spring is in the air! And I’ve noticed the days are getting longer. Yay! Also, I’m seeing and hearing more robins lately. Listening to robins singing is one of my favorite sounds of spring.

I don’t have a lot going on this week, but I am headed to a short writer’s conference in Tennessee next month, I’m excited about. My mom and my second oldest daughter are going to travel with me and they’ll hang out while I’m in workshops on self-publishing and other writing topics. And hopefully we’ll check out a bookstore or library or two!

Reading

I seem to be a little behind on my reading goals for the year. I’m 4 books behind right now. But I’ll catch up eventually, don’t worry! I have all year, right? And since February is a short month, I’ll be working on my reading wrap up soon.

My current project

My new book, the Christmas Cookie one, is not going well. I’m still in chapter 1 and don’t feel like I know what to write. I might have to shelve it for now and work on something else. I have a couple other Chance Encounter novels started, maybe I’ll blow the dust off one of those.
