In the Writer’s House #17: Thankful for You!

Hello Readers,

Boy, has it been a busy couple months. Since Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching (as in, how can it possibly be Thanksgiving tomorrow already???), I thought I would share a little about what I’m thankful for. And give an update.

Giving Thanks

I’m especially thankful for my family who put up with me while trying to finish a book. And for my writing friends who encourage me to keep going. A few weeks ago I asked them if I could switch to picture books. They said no. Therefore, I had to keep editing and keep at it. 🙂 Lucky for you!

I am also thankful for the many freedoms we enjoy in this country, and for the ability to pursue writing to see wherever it may lead. And honestly, I’m relieved this Thanksgiving, knowing my hard work is nearly over. I can’t completely relax, as there is always more marketing to do. But, I am looking forward to more breathing room in my days and being able to get back to reading all those books sitting in my TBR pile! And reading several Christmas books. And watching Christmas movies. Can’t wait!

Heir Force is Getting Closer!

Yesterday, I received the first set of proof copies of my newest inspirational romance, and it’s rather exciting! The ebook is up for pre-order, and will be available starting Friday November 24th, which just happens to be Black Friday here in the U.S. It’s .99 for now, probably until after the holidays.

I was quite frantic earlier this month, wondering if I was going to get all the parts put together in time and the final edits finished. So much to do at the last minute, it left me feeling panicky. All is well though. The paperback will be available the first week or so of December.

I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and have a great rest of your week!

~~Always thankful

Michelle
