My Goodreads Win?

Remember last week when I was so excited to win a book from Goodreads? Well, I received it already and won an ARC instead of a nice, finished hardback. So, read the fine print when entering these giveaways and make sure you’re signing up for an actual book. Let’s just say, I was so disappointed 😦 Oh, well. Lesson learned.

Another Birthday?!

Celebrated another daughter’s birthday over the weekend, my youngest daughter turned six. Wow, time flies when you’re busy, right?! One more daughter to go, this upcoming weekend. But she’s not having a party, just with the family.

Heir Force is Getting Closer!

I’m almost done with my edits on Heir Force, and I’m so glad. I get antsy when I get to this point with a book. It’s almost like getting ready for a wedding, when you’re really excited, and you’ve done a lot of work, but want it to be over with. Know what I mean?

And I’ve sent my cover info to my designer, so I’m happy about that. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with. I always (as if I had 500 books-lol!) look forward to this part!

The Danger of Reading While I’m Supposed to be Writing!

I started reading this page turner, called Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris the other day. I can’t stop thinking about it, and let’s just say that I am very, very, very, thankful and grateful for a normal, sane and loving husband. I won’t say more until my August reading wrap up. 🙂
