This week’s writing prompt is about celebrating the end of the school year. Did you have a tradition to do something fun on the last day of school when you were growing up? Do you do something fun with your family now when school is out?

Today was our last day of homeschool at Connell Christian Academy for 2017 and we have a tradition to take the family to Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat. We rarely go out for ice cream, so this has been our tradition for the last four years or so. We will still do some review occasionally, but are done with the bulk of our school studies.
