For this week’s writing prompt, I thought I’d share just a little about my trip to Tucson, where I attended the Tucson Festival of Books over the weekend. Let’s just say that this setup is humongous and a little overwhelming. I just got back from Tucson last night.
I am now adjusting to a two hour time change, a 60 degree temperature difference and getting back to my daily routine. I had a fabulous time and will share more about the TFoB in Friday’s post.
The best part of the trip was spending time with one of my best friends, Sarah! She is also a homeschooling mom and used to live here, but when her hubby retired from the Air Force, they moved to Tucson.

My best/forever/sister friend lives in Florida…right near the beach. So, aside from the fact that I love to be with her, I also love to be in the place that she lives. Unfortunately for her, that means they get more visits from us than we get from them. 🙂 We met 42 years ago and it was “friends at first sight!”
