Hello,
As you know, I love books. I love to read them, I used to review them (still do occasionally), I collect them and now I write them. So, this week’s prompt is all about books-but in what format do you prefer? My answer is below.
As you know, I am in the middle of marketing my first book, Cookie Encounter. And I work a lot on the computer, so I do not want to read an e-book. I have a few downloaded, but I haven’t looked at a single one and probably won’t. And, I prefer to turn the pages of a book, to smell it, and hold it in my hand.
But what about you? Do you prefer e-books? Do you like to listen to an audio book during a commute or while doing housework? Do you not like to have stacks of books around from the library? Do you like the portability of e-books when traveling?
Which format do you prefer? E-books, audio or paper? Share with us.
~~Michelle
P.S. Don’t forget the giveaway going on over at GoodReads, where I’m giving away two signed copies to winners from the U.S., CA, or GB.
I prefer paper books. I love to hold them in my hands while reading, I love to see bookcases full of them, and I love to have them lying beside my bed to read at night. Like you, after spending a lot of time working on the computer, reading an e-book is the last thing I would want to do. I have never listened to an audio book, but it is something I would consider if my eyesight ever got bad enough that I couldn’t read.
