It’s time for summer reading!! My kids are registered at the library for the summer reading program, so I thought I’d relate this week’s prompt to summer reading.Who doesn’t like the annual summer reading program at the local library? Especially when it gives kids incentives to keep reading and helps them keep their skills up.

For this week’s prompt, use the following words:

2. summer
3. books

Mine is below, have fun!

Brenda couldn’t wait to start the summer reading program at the library. This was the only time her mother would let her check out more than three books at a time. She was looking forward to reading several Agatha Christie mysteries, the classic Gone With the Wind-again,  and the latest issue of Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine.
