Hello Readers,
How about some free books? I’ve done some spring cleaning and found another stack of books left from my reviewing days. (New books, never read)
So, how about a contest? I love contests with prizes!
I have enough books for three prizes. One this week, one for next week and the following week.
Spring Fling Prize Package Week 1
This week’s ARV is around $65!
To enter this week’s giveaway, do Two things:
1. Sign up for my newsletter (see the button to your right?) I’m getting ready to send out the first one in a few weeks. You won’t want to miss it.
AND
2. Share your favorite spring cleaning tip in the comments below! That’s it! Help me out and give me your best cleaning or organizing tips as I don’t like to clean much. Or really at all.
Easy, easy!
A signed copy of Cookie Encounter is included in the prize package for this week’s winner. The winner will be announced next Monday along with next week’s contest! Stay tuned and good luck! Oh, and spread the word!
I love giving books away!!

Hello! I should be signed up for the newsletter. I think. My best tip is to clean one room of windows every month throughout the year so you don’t have a giant job spring and fall. 🙂

Hi MIchelle!
I just signed up for the newsletter 🙂 My spring cleaning tip is to get rid of things that you haven’t used within the past year. If you haven’t used them in a year, what are the odds you will use them any time soon?
Thank you for the chance to win!

Hi! My favorite cleaning hint is to hire someone to come in and do the cleaning for you. Remember, you didn’t ask for a practical tip—just a favorite. 🙂

I am signed up. And my Spring cleaning tip is: Work from the top down (upstairs then the downstairs), inside to outside, to avoid getting what you just cleaned dirty again

My favorite spring tip is to work one room at a time a day at a time. It helps me to have 2 tubs with me as well. One for donation and one for trash. Try to make it as stress free as possible. Thank you!

Beth, this is another great suggestion! I’m always finding stuff to either throw out or donate. Thank you for sharing!

We frequently have Mini Clean-ups. I set the oven timer for 5 minuts. We pick up or clean, each taking a different room decided on prior to setting the timer to maximize time. That’s really 20 min if we all participate. If my husband isn’t home or interested, I might set the timer for 6 or 7 minutes. With a detailed list, this could be applied to Spring cleaning a few times a day or week.

Lisa,
We try and do this before hubby/daddy comes home, and it helps to keep stress around dinner time down. Thanks for sharing!

My tip is to be prepared to purge all unnecessary items! I love entering into summer with fewer material items. It gives me space to add NEW material items. Like books. 😉

My best Spring cleaning tip? Hmm. Looking around my house, it looks like I don’t HAVE any! I need to have a garage sale, to get rid of a lot of stuff, or donate it away, or throw things out. But there is so much that I’m just overwhelmed. I suppose my best tip is – stay better organized than I am!
