Hello Readers,
For this week’s prompt, use the following words:
spring break
sunshine
park
Here’s mine:
Clarise was looking forward to spring break and spending more time in the sunshine at the local park. She loves to play on the swings and feel the wind in her hair.
Happy writing!

My college roommate flew to Florida to bask in the sunshine at Ft. Lauderdale for spring break. Unlucky for me, I was out of money and had to spend my vacation at our city park. Bummer.

I literally felt the spring break as I flopped on my favorite chair for a short afternoon siesta. I’d been working outside in the harsh desert sunshine all day helping renovate the neighborhood park. I just wanted a rest and an iced tea; not a giant punch on my back side. I loved that old chair. Past tense … loved.
