Hello Readers,
Next month I’m meeting with the local library book club. They are currently reading my debut novel, Cookie Encounter. But what I want to know is, what would you ask a new author?
What kinds of questions should I anticipate answering? What would you ask a new author if you liked or didn’t like their new book?
I would like to have an idea of what I might be asked. So, here’s your chance to chime in!
Ask me anything about writing a book or about being an author.
The floor’s open. Ask away!
Ready to answer,
~~Michelle
How long did it take you to write your novel?
What did you find were your biggest challenges in getting it published?

Hi Kristah,
Cookie Encounter was a NaNoWriMo Novel. So, I wrote the bulk of it in November of 2007. I have edited it on and off over the years since then and let it sit until early 2015 when I decided it was time for it to leave the nest. I had first readers read it, edited it again, and then again when I uploaded it to Create Space and Kindle.
One of the hardest things for me was to decide whether to pursue traditional publishing or go self-pub. Then, after I decided to self-pub, it was getting it in the right formats to publish.
Thank you for asking!
