My Favorite Books on Writing Part 2

Hello Readers,

I thought I’d share about a few more of my favorite writing books.

Write His Answer book

Write His Answer by Marlene Bagnull

Write His Answer by Marlene Bagnull is a Bible Study for writers. It’s a great way to get encouragement and inspiration. Highly recommended.

Write Faster, Write Better by David A. Fryxell

Write Faster, Write Better by David A. Fryxell

Write Faster, Write Better by David A. Fryxell is a good book that covers many writing topics. Fryxell writes about planning, organizing, structure, using the Web, interviewing and many other topics. As former editor-in-chief of Writer’s Digest and author of books and over a thousand articles, he knows his stuff.

Snoopy's Guide to the Writing Life book

Snoopy’s Guide to the Writing Life Edited by Barnaby Conrad and Monte Schulz

Snoopy’s Guide to the Writing Life Edited by Barnaby Conrad and Monte Schulz is a fun book with  articles from dozens of authors like Danielle Steel, Elizabeth George, Sol Stein, Ray Bradbury. Each article connects with a Snoopy cartoon. One that puts a smile on your face, but instructional and inspirational too.

The Irresistible Novel by Jeff Gerke book, fall candy

The Irresistible Novel by Jeff Gerke

The Irresistible Novel by Jeff Gerke is a new favorite, which I reviewed at PaddleCreekWriters.com back in September 2015. This book covers many issues that trip writers up and encourages them to write how their book needs to be written and not worry about ‘rules’ which may just be editorial preferences.

So, how about you? Have any favorite books on writing from your bookshelf? Share with us!

Happy writing!

~~Michelle
