One of my favorite things about Christmas is taking a few quiet minutes to read the Christimas story and sit quietly to reflect. It just puts things in the proper perspective for me.

We read the story on Christmas morning before we start the chaos of opening presents. It’s kind of like the calm before the storm.

My favorite part of Christmas is when the out of town family arrive, and the in town family come over, and everyone is happy and excited and eating pie and cookies and cheesecake and having a great time just being all together.

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is walking into our church Christmas Eve as the church bell rings (even better if it’s snowing). Everyone is excited and things look festive and there is a feeling of genuine celebration.
