Dear Readers,
Thank you for stopping by! It is now fun time! I am so excited, because first of all, I accomplished something techy today! I figured out how to get a newsletter sign up (see it on the right side) and it actually works! (it only took me three hours! Have I told you yet how un-techy I am?)
Second, because it’s contest time! Read on for the details.
I am finishing up the final details to the e-book version of Cookie Encounter, to come out next week. After that, I’ll be getting the paperback version finished.
In the meantime, see the covers below and to enter for the prizes, do two things: one sign up for either the newsletter (I will only send it a couple times a year, I promise) or to follow this blog AND leave a comment with your cover choice. Make sense? Voting will start tomorrow morning, Friday September 25th, at 8:00 a.m. Central time, U.S.
Readers from the U.K., Canada, and the U.S. are eligible. Spread the word! I will close the contest on Sunday evening the 27th at 8:00 p.m. Central time, U.S. One vote per person please!
I will try and reply to as many of you as possible over the weekend. Have fun!
Prizes:
1. one prize will be a floral bouquet from Teleflora (value about $40)
2. the second prize will be a cookie package (value about $30)
It’s so easy to enter! I hope you spread the word and let your friends know about this contest to help me choose my cover. I will announce the winners on Monday morning, September 28th. Thanks for voting!
Thanks so much! I’m really excited to see how this goes. Oh, and if you’re one of my early followers, you can sign up for the newsletter and vote in the comments. 🙂

I like the one with the hearts because it shows the couple’s hands joined and seems warm and personal. The cookies wrapped in a ribbon look isolated, though I like the overall cover design, which reminds me of a cookbook.

I vote for the one with the couple on the front. It lets the reader know it’s a romance right off the bat. 🙂 Best of luck with the new release!!
